She loves working as an RN at the Critical Care Unit in Guelph; however, her passion is agriculture and agri-business.

worked in both the public and private sector.

He has past community experience as president of the Elora Chamber of Commerce,
president of the Fergus Elora Big Brothers, a member of Elora Council and a committee
member of the Association of Ontario Land Surveyors.

Alexandra, Derek’s former fiancée (47 years ago) and Derek enjoy their small farm operation
and are members of the Elora Salem Horticultural Society.

Harold DeVries, of Business Centre Guelph Wellington. As a provincially mandated Small Business Enterprise Centre, the Business Centre of Guelph Wellington provides training coaching and mentoring to anyone who wishes to start and/or grow a small business - they help launch 100+ businesses each year.  As a Program Lead/Small Business Advisor for the centre, Harold has been actively involved in encouraging and instructing community members across the county in the start-up and growth of business.  His work has been focused primarily on business from the rural townships on Wellington County.  Harold sits as community member on the Wellington County Economic Develop Group, the economic development committee for the Town of Minto.  Further he has recently been appointed to the Board of Launchlt Minto.
